Meeting Heather and her husband, Seth for the first time that morning, I quickly realized how much of a blessing it was to have the presence of such sweet and joyful souls. Our day was truly enhanced by their enthusiasm, kindness and flexibility.
“I had developed an appreciation for photography a couple years prior while personally dabbling into the art, so finding the perfect photographer was paramount. We started our search locally and quickly discovered we needed to hire a destination wedding photographer. We wanted something different, a photography style that captured the soft, ethereal moments, and a more personal feeling in each photograph. I knew what I wanted in theory: the fine art film style of softness with colors that really resonated with me.
We stumbled upon Heather's photography … FINALLY! It was exactly what we had been looking for. After perusing through her past work on her website, we knew she had to photograph our wedding. Heather flew into New York to shoot both our engagement and wedding.

“When my fiancé and I decided that we were going to elope in a secluded mountain destination with just a few close friends, we knew we needed a special kind of photographer to capture the day. We immediately began researching destination wedding photographers. We made sure to warn each that this would be a more adventurous wedding than most, and we were keeping our fingers crossed that someone would be up for the challenge. Heather’s resounding “Yes!
